Syd Fit Boxing
An adult co-ed class that focuses on getting you into shape by providing a full body workout. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 12 persons so that each member has more time to work with their instructor. The class aims to target your key areas while learning the basics of boxing. Each member is required to have their own set of wraps and gloves.
Syd Fit Early Riser Boxing
Like to start your day with an exhillarating workout? This 45 minutes class starts at 6:30am to help you get your busy day start with a rush of energy. The class combines basic boxing and cardio to give your mind and body the kick start it needs to get you through your busy day...or if you are just finishing that long night shift, why not glove up and release some of that work place tension!
Syd Fit at Noon
Similar to our Early Riser Boxing program, B@N is a 45 minute, intense boxing/cardio workout that is designed to challenge your whole body! A great way to refresh yourself for the remaining days work, or get in the workout you want that fits into your hectic schedule! Class sizes are generally smaller than our popular evening classes, giving you the added benefit of more personalized training.
The Vanderpool Training System
The Vanderpool Fighting System is a 5 level grading system that has been developed over 13 years of travelling around the world, competing in the sport of boxing. It is the accumulation of elite skills learned from the best trainers and making it better!
The only program of its kind, this graduated boxing skills development program allows all students to learn the sweet science of boxing, achieve physical conditioning goals, and develop the leadership skills needed to advance from basic skills to competitive status. All students enrolled in youth programs at BBSV will use the system to benchmark their progress.
Syd Box - Youth
A great way to keep kids active while having fun! Each class will provide them with one on one time with their trainer for individual assessment. The core of the program is based around the Vanderpool Fight System; a graduated level program that tests their increasing skills over the course of 5 Wrap Levels. Each student starts with white wraps, and as their skills increase, they have the option of being tested to graduate to the next Wrap Level. A truly unique way of teaching the sport of boxing.
Syd Box Young Champions
Kids as young as 8 years old can start learning the basics of boxing in an environment that is structured, yet tailored to the social growth and peer trust obstacles that this age group experiences. In an environment of trust, fun, and acceptance, our Young Champions learn boxing through team support of their peers, make some new friends, and learn about their inner strengths along the way. Graduates of the Young Champions class move up to the Youth Boxing program.
Syd Box competitive
For our members who have a desire to step in the ring and go toe to toe with their Destiny! Our competitive boxing programs teach our Destiny Boxing Team how to merge their physical skills with the mental strength that being in a bout requires. Ringmanship, style, and learning how to keep focus in the ring are key components that all boxers work on throughout their careers. The Destiny Boxing Team has consecutive medals at the last 5 Golden Gloves tournaments, and is entered into several events throughout the year within South-western Ontario. Members of the Destiny Boxing Team must maintain yearly memberships with the Ontario Boxing Association to be eligible to enter in matches.
Private and Semi Private Boxing
Want to work on your technique or share your boxing experience with a small group of friends? Private and semi-private classes provide you with the opportunity to train on your time, as it suits your schedule! Whether you want to finesse your boxing skills, or work with one of our certified strength and conditioning trainers, our team is here to give you the workout you want! Semi-private classes are kept at a 4 person maximum so that all members have personalized time with their trainer. Emphasis is place on creating the best program possible to fit your fitness goals, or help you maintain your ideal physique.
